What We Do
At She’s Lab, we develop innovative plant-based materials designed to responsibly replace traditional ones, particularly in the fashion, furnishings, and design sectors.
We work with biomaterials obtained through fermentation and with ethically cultivated fibers, transforming them into materials that can be molded, sewn, cut, or used as textured surfaces.
Each material is designed to be lighter on the planet: at the end of its life cycle, it can be easily disposed of or returned to the natural cycle, reducing the environmental impacts of textile production.

Our Materials
At She’s Lab, we select and resell plant-based textiles from our ethical supply chains distributed across different parts of the world.
These are materials that come from producers who work with attention, care, and respect, following sustainable agricultural practices and cultivation cycles that do not force nature.
Our selection includes raw cottons, natural fibers, and untreated textiles: a clean alternative to the most common industrial materials.
Each textile is the result of relationships built with small producers, cooperatives, and organizations that guarantee fair working conditions, traceability, and transparency.

Alongside the textiles from our supply chains, we also make available the materials we develop internally: innovative surfaces, material sheets, and panels that originate from plant-based ingredients and represent valid alternatives to animal leather and synthetic materials.
Their strength lies in their composition: natural, renewable, lighter on the environment, and easily disposable at end of life.
All our materials are available for sample collections, prototypes, collections, schools, companies, and creative studios.

The materials we develop at She’s Lab are designed for fashion, product design, and furnishings.
In our laboratory, we create bio-based surfaces,
material sheets, and textures that can be molded, sewn, layered, or used as visual and tactile elements in different projects.
We work with designers, brands, and companies that want to integrate more sustainable materials into their sample collections or prototypes, seeking alternatives that maintain aesthetic beauty, functionality, and design coherence.
