She’s Lab is a materials and design laboratory where nature, research, and craftsmanship meet.
We experiment with innovative fabrics and biomaterials through slow and transparent processes, because time is the first ingredient of quality.
We collaborate with ethical supply chains in different parts of the world, selecting plant fibers and fabrics made with care and respect for the environment and those who produce them. Each material tells an honest story, rooted in the earth and in tradition.
She’s Lab is also an open space: a place where creatives, companies, students, artisans, and curious minds can exchange ideas, learn, and experiment. We believe in the value of shared knowledge: when ideas circulate, matter comes to life in new ways.

Where We Started
She’s Lab was born from a simple and personal research project.
During her thesis, Alida Peron searched for a material that had the strength and versatility of animal leather, but without the environmental impact of traditional tanneries. She did not want to contribute to a system that consumes water, resources, and creates waste that is difficult to manage. She was looking for a cleaner, more respectful answer, closer to nature.
That research led her to bio-based materials, and in particular to kombucha cellulose: a living, transformable biomaterial capable of becoming a true plant-based alternative to animal leather.
From there, the experiments began: blends, attempts, errors, insights. Day after day, the material began to speak, to take shape, to reveal possibilities. The research became a method, the laboratory became a home.
She’s Lab is a collective place: born from a personal story, grown through many other stories.
Anyone who shares this philosophy is already part of it. We believe that change comes from many hands moving in the same direction.
